Responsibility and focus
Marcelo Alexandre Pereira Santos is responsible for IANautaLab’s editorial direction. We select topics that help people understand and use artificial intelligence for everyday tasks, studying, and creating. We cover developments when they change a possible use or a reader’s decision, without overstating promises.
Quality and sources
Each piece must answer a specific question, provide understandable explanations, and add useful examples, criteria, or steps. Factual claims need verifiable sources. For features, prices, and availability that may change, we prioritize the provider’s documentation, notices, and official pages. We indicate the verification date when it affects how useful the information is.
Confirmed facts are distinguished from analysis, opinion, and inference. A conclusion based on interpretation must be presented as such. When evidence is missing, we state the limitation rather than fill gaps with assumptions.
Tests and recommendations
A test report may only be published if the test was actually performed. We describe the task, criteria, and relevant conditions, including limitations. Consulting documentation is not the same as hands-on testing. We do not invent experiences, results, prices, availability, or credentials.
Our own tools explain what they do, how they produce a result, and what they cannot assess. Recommendations help you choose a starting point; they are not a universal ranking and do not guarantee the performance of external services.
Use of artificial intelligence and human review
We use artificial intelligence to support initial research, idea organization, writing, review, and tool development. It can produce errors and does not replace verification. Publication must undergo human review of content, sources, clarity, and suitability for the page’s purpose. Marcelo remains responsible for editorial decisions.
We do not present AI-assisted content as personal experience. We also do not treat an AI response as sufficient evidence to confirm an important claim.
Updates
We review materials when we identify changes that affect their accuracy or usefulness. Features and prices require more attention than stable concepts. Relevant editorial updates receive a visible date; changes in appearance or technical maintenance alone do not justify presenting old content as new.
Corrections
When we identify an error, we check the passage and its source, correct the information, and assess whether other pages were also affected. When a correction changes guidance or a conclusion, we add a clear note on the page itself with the date and what changed. Minor writing errors may be corrected without an individual note.
When evaluating a reported issue, the page address, the questioned passage, and a source or example that allows the problem to be reproduced are useful. No correction depends on agreeing with the project’s opinions.
Independence and conflicts of interest
Tools must be selected and evaluated according to their usefulness to the reader. Commercial relationships, benefits received, or personal interests that could influence an evaluation must be disclosed alongside the content. We do not sell editorial conclusions or omit limitations to favor a recommendation.
Limitations
Even after review, content may contain errors or become outdated. IANautaLab does not offer individualized professional advice. Check decisive information against the original sources and test AI results before using them.
