What cookies are

Cookies are small records that a site may store in your browser, for example, to recognize a session. They serve different purposes and should not be confused with the technical data sent to the server when you open a page.

Public browsing

In IANautaLab’s current configuration, the public pages that have been checked do not use advertising or audience-measurement cookies. There is no public newsletter form, comments, or reader registration. The absence of these features does not mean the server stops receiving technical connection data. The functional cookie pll_language, set by Polylang, records your language preference to keep browsing in the chosen language.

Our own tools

The five in-house tools process responses in the browser without creating cookies or saving choices in local storage. They do not send responses to AI services. Copying or downloading a result is your action and may create a copy on your device, outside the tools’ storage.

Administrative access

The WordPress login screen sets the technical cookie wordpress_test_cookie to check whether the browser accepts cookies. It is a session cookie. Authenticated administrative access also depends on session and authentication cookies. These are distinct from a reader’s browsing and are not advertising.

Browser management

You can view and delete the domain’s cookies in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking technical cookies may prevent login or end an administrative session. This does not delete copies of results you have saved in other applications or files.

Links to other sites

When you open an external link, the destination may use its own cookies and request consent. Consult that service’s information; IANautaLab does not control the destination’s practices.

Changes and related information

This policy will be updated if the actual use of cookies changes. Also consult the Privacy Policy, available in the institutional navigation, to understand internal search, tool processing, and technical access data.
